The Mt. View Hoops Booster Club was created in June of 2023 by Coach Jarrett Reidhead, Mother Kelli McCalley, Mother Nicholle Bele, and Head Coach Clay Wilson. With Colin as a freshman to the basketball program last year, Joaquin as a transfer into the Basketball program from Salpointe, and Coach Clay taking over the Head Coaching position, we came together with the support from JV Coach Jarrett Reidhead in creating an organization to support Mt. View High School’s Men’s Basketball Program.

During our first meeting we had Mother Amber Pundt, Mother Virginia Zazueta-Blackman, Mother Christian Natale, and Mother Kim Harshbarger wanting to jump head with us by taking Mountain View Basketball Players to the next level by giving them the support, resources, and means necessary. Our ultimate goal is providing each and every one of our players the opportunity succeed!

“I saw a need and the potential to help improve the men’s basketball program. By joining alongside other parents who were willing, eager and motivated to work together to establish the Mt. View Hoops Booster Club, I know we can make a positive impact and provide needed support to make future seasons better than ever! We hope to elevate the experience for players, coaches, families, and fans of the Mountain View Men’s Basketball Program”

The Mt. View Hoops Booster Club, Head Coach Clay Wilson, & Players would like to thank you for being a part of our Basketball Program & supporting each and everyone of the players on the team as a family unit. Our goal this year is to focus on communication between the players, the parents, the coaching staff, and the booster club. Once try outs are complete and all teams (Freshman, JV, and Varsity) are formed we will be holding a parent meeting. The date is TBD. This will be mandatory attendance for one parent/guardian and the player of the team. At that time, we will go over the Code of Conduct for the 2024-2025 Mt. View Basketball Season. We will also go over important guidelines, dates, and of course your game schedule with any tournaments and practices that are currently scheduled.

The Boosters, The Coaching Staff, & the Players have been hard at work over the last couple of months creating Programs, Fan Gear, Team Dinners, Coaching Gear, Player Uniforms, Community Engagement, and Parent Outreach, and Parent Communication App. We cannot wait to share it with ALL of you!
